Are you lost or confused about some of the areas that Napoleon Hill talks about in “Think & Grow Rich”? Or maybe you’d like some help or suggestions to overcome your own issues (like fear or procrastination).
For the moment (while I look into the possibility of a forum), you can add your comment to this page and let’s see if we can help each other out!

How can you really get rid off procastination? I know Mr. Hill talked about it, but I need some more details. Thank you to anyone for helping out!!
Hi Noe,
From my experience as a coach, there’s more than one type of procrastination – broadly speaking, there’s 3 that I can think of:
The first type is “a problem getting started”, the second is never finishing due to “lack of interest/getting bored” and the third is never finishing because of “wanting things to be perfect”. Which type would you say you have?
As a general reframe, isn’t it strange but really procrastination is nothing more than “putting off something that you already know you’re going to finish“. Regardless of the type of procrastination – at some point, you’ve actually already completed it in your mind (you can already imagine the job being done/complete)… you’re just not doing it “right now“.
Logically, it makes no sense to not do right now, what you already know you’re going to finish anyway (read that again until it makes sense!).
There may also be other “behaviours/habits” that you attach to procrastinating… but I’d need a bit more info about “how” you do procrastination!
Hope that helps a bit. If you could provide a bit more information on “how” you do it, that will help…
Cheers,
Zain
Hi Noe,
Everybody have different reasons for procastination and different types of procastination as Mr Zain mentioned. And please remember90% of our actins are based on our emotions more than logic, so it is better to change the attached emaotions to the event. Solution is different from person to person. I would like to share you the way I get rid off my procastination in exercising and waking up early and exercise early.
First step I observe my patterns that is leading me to procastination (my phisiology, body posture, ideas in my mind (so I can break the habit)
Second I dream of myself not achieving anything that I want to achieve and not fit, overweight just sitting on table and my life going nowhere (so I put so much pain and things I am afraid to the procrastinaion)
After that I send this image away and bring the benefits of what I want to do
Then, I change my phisiology and and dream myself I reach my aim, I am fit can do anything strong and I am enyojing swimming, I feel energised and strong. And I tell to myself with power: JUST DO IT!
And before I go to bed, I dream myself I will wake up early with alarm energic and put my exercise cloths next to my bed so the moment I saee them I see myself fit and exercising.
When I exercise like this 10 times, the moment I see mysport shoes I feel energic and want to run =)
I hope this will be useful for your procrastination process.
Ozan makes some great points.
Firstly, there is definitely a link between the mind and the body. For example, if you think of someone in a bad mood, they would have clenched fists; a scowl on their face; their breathing would be fast etc. So just having a thought can create a physical reaction. The opposite way round is also true (as Ozan points out) – simply changing how you are physically can change the way you think. So, if you go to a time when you feel energised and positive, then remember what your posture is, you can then use that to get yourself back into a positive frame of mind.
Secondly, Ozan is right that a lot of what we do comes down to how we feel. A trick to changing your mind into procrastination is to change how you feel about the work you’re avoiding doing. What would make it a pleasant experience? For example, when I have to washing up the dishes, I’ll put on some music so that the task doesn’t feel like a chore – instead, I’m actually enjoying doing it. This will also help to create a good habit as you’ll be anchoring the positive feelings.
Good luck with getting motivated!
How do I get a copy of Think & Grow Rich? When I try to download it says I am already subscribed.

Hi George,
You’re right. You were already subscribed to the list. I’ve gone in and manually sent the Thanks email. Please check your inbox in the next few minutes (and also your junk/spam folders if it doesn’t appear to have arrived.
Please let me know if that worked!
Cheers,
Zain
PS: I edited your comment so your email doesn’t show. There are robots that search the interwebs to find emails they can spam. I took it off for you…
My cries for help don’t seem to be getting through. I purchased the audio version. First I couldn’t get it to download. Finally the next day it did. Now I can’t get the files on my iPhone. I need help!!
Hi Jaimie,
I do get a lot of spam in my inbox, so this comments area is great for people who want to get in contact with me (I check it every day!).
I’ve sent you an email that you can respond to. Hopefully, you’ll get it and can reply to it. Otherwise, try here again!
Cheers,
Zain
How can I develop my burning desire to achieve my goal? Mr. talked about but I need more details. Thanks for everyone who can help out.
Hi Lheomar,
Firstly, do you have a clear idea about what your goal is? Before you even get to developing your Burning Desire, I’d recommend you spend some time working out what you really want to achieve. If you’ve not done so already, then watch Mr Hill explaining how you fix a clear idea in your mind about what you want – you can find this in the Master Key Introduction page.
It may seem a bit odd to write out and say aloud your desire and what you will give in return, although (as I’ve mentioned in on the page) how can anyone possibly achieve anything without a commitment to purpose. Psychologically, if you commit to an intention and repeat the process every day, you are building a positive habit. If there’s one thing that will really help to create a burning desire, then it would be to create positive habits.
You may notice, that I often encourage people to take positive action – no matter how small. After all, if the simplest of tasks, such as writing out your desires and saying them aloud, leads a person to feel they are not able to achieve, then what hope do they have of achieving a bigger task?
I hope this helps you on your journey. Please let me know how your going. Every question and comment can help others out!
Cheers,
Zain
Embarrased to ask here. Possible to write to you without it being public?
Yes, it is… I’ve just sent you an email… Please check your junk/spam folders in case it didn’t get through.
I’m just in the process of updating the contact form. Thanks for the reminder!
Hello,
I’ve downloaded the free copy of the book ‘Think and Grow rich’ but when i extract it says there’s nothing to extract or that the file is corrupted.
Please Help,
Lungelo
Hi Lungelo,
Please can you try downloading the file again from the Guest Members area? When I test, it seems to be fine. Sometimes, when a file is corrupted, it is because it’s not downloaded properly – there may have been a break in the connection. If a program that downloads the file in with multiple connections is used, then it could be a case that not all the “parts” were correctly grabbed from the site.
Let me know if re-downloading the file works or not. If it doesn’t, please let me know what programs you are using to try and extract the file.
Cheers,
Zain
Hi,
As Lungeloz, I’ve downloaded the free copy of the book ‘Think and Grow rich’ from the Guest Members. When i tried to extract the files using WinZip, the feedback was: ‘it does not look as a valid archive’. Actually I noticed the downloaded file is 146KB, not 1MB as mentioned in your site.
What can I do?
Many thanks in advance for your help,
Luigi
I wanted to know, if i read the book x100 out loud would that be enough to master the principles of think and grow rich and apply them to my life?
Hi Napoleon’s Witness… LOL! I love how you think. And, oh… How I wish it were really just that simple! If it was, I’d probably be done now…
However, in reality, mastering the principles takes “action” – there’s only so much that happens just by “thinking” about things, or just saying them. For example, “talking” about overcoming your fears isn’t the same as actually “doing it”.
Does that make sense?
Cheers,
Zain
PS: Thanks for making me smile and chuckle. I appreciate that!
