A great and noble undertaking. Thank you. I am wondering if you have any insights into what I believe to be a major issue for young people, myself included. One of the problems I see today is the unending clamor for our attention. Radio, TV, Internet, magazines, etc. are presenting so many attention grabbing headlines that the world can be one big distraction. Many of us are conditioned to give time-based attention. Sound-bites and view-bites are so tittilating that it is difficult to engage in deep thought and analysis. I know that for myself, it is a matter of shutting off the distractions. However, to me the compter is like walking into a vast library, the biggest ever. I struggle to stay on task. I know that I must maintain disipline to stay focussed. For my young adult sons, I have reduced leverage and feel frustrated and helpless as I think they focus too little.
