New Think & Grow Rich eBook Members Area

For the last 3 and half years, Think & Grow Rich eBook dot com has been spreading a simple message of hope and opportunity to thousands of people, simply by distributing Napoleon Hill’s classic work for free.

Recently, this site has enabled more than 20,000 people to downloaded this site’s very special version of this classic text. I’m now getting around 70 sign-ups per day for the newsletters (and growing).

For those of you who have seen my recent dedication to this site, you’ll know that I now have a burning desire to make this site even better and take it to another level.

Today, I’d like to talk to you about the new Membership area that I’ve just built and the mutual  benefits for You and me as well as what you can expect in future from this site.

But before I do, I would like to begin by explaining why this Membership area has been created. For those who understand the powerful intention at work behind this site, I’m sure you will appreciate and value the unique resource that this site will become.

When I first started this site in 2007, my aims were simple: I had discovered a book that had helped to transform my life and wanted to help empower others by sharing with them this book because I felt this book had the power to make a real difference in the world.

In terms of that “simple” goal, I feel that my simple aim has been an overwhelming successful.

I have enjoyed riches from the huge numbers of people who have emailed to tell me how much just having this ebook has inspired them to think and act in a different way.

These are the types of riches that cannot be measured.

If, on my deathbed, there is one thing I can look back to and know – it’s that my life had a purpose and I already feel like I’ve achieved something positive in this world. The knowledge that I helped to give over 20,000 people the chance to start changing their lives – whether or not they actually took action – is what I can hold onto. I have already provided people with the opportunity for positive change (whether they realised it or not).

I am fortunate – not a lot of people can say they have achieved the same level of success. Through this website, I would like to help You feel the same way.

And believe me… it is possible.

It’s now 2011 and, having recently re-read Think & Grow Rich and re-watched the online videos, I came to a few realisations.

Firstly: One man can make a positive difference in this world.

All it takes is a Thought and the determination to put that idea into action. And if I can do it, so can YOU.

As many of you may now realise, my site isn’t just about “Think & Grow Rich”, it’s about how you go beyond the ideas in the book and commit to powerful and positive actions that can and will change your world.

I sincerely believe that – in this new age of technology – if you have a burning desire and determination to positively change your world, you can influence the world around you.

You can create your own future, when you discover how.

But in order to create positive change in YOUR world (and so affect the people around you), a new type of thinking is required…

As part of my own personal mission, I’m aiming to build a site that will help others achieve the enriched life that they seek. If anything, this site aims to be more than simply seeking “financial” riches but also aims to empower people to Think and then Act in positive ways…

My second realisation was that, unlike the other sites giving away Think & Grow Rich:

There is an Untapped Opportunity Here!

“Think & Grow Rich” talks being 3 feet from gold… well for over 3 years, even I missed that golden opportunity – it was right in front of me all of the time.

And the reason I missed it?

Well, this was due to a poverty of “thinking” on my part. My assumption being that “the only people who would want this ebook would be poor”. A poor mindset brings about poor results. If there’s one thing I can share with you: “never assume anything” – check and clarify your thoughts and work from a position of certainty.

You might have noticed that, in the last few months, I have worked hard to changing this site and I am committed to a plan of action that will begin to help empower people in ways, more than just giving away an ebook could ever possibly do.

In the near future, I have plans to introduce other resources, like a training program to help people get online. I also want to put up a new forum so that YOU can discuss and share ideas with other like minded people.

In this way, I hope to encourage, empower and enable people and allow them to realise the benefits of the “Master Mind” principle. Through co-operation and mutual benefits, it is possible to unite a group of people who can help and assist each other on their individual journeys to riches.

By doing so, I hope you’ll discover your own opportunities and realise how close you are from gold!

I was actually surprised to find out that Napoleon Hill knew of this secret. In the book, he states that:

“One of the strange things about human beings is that they value only that which has a price.”

(Napoleon Hill, Think & Grow Rich, p78)

The more I pondered this, the more I realised that a lot of people may not really have benefitted from getting the ebook for free. They may have downloaded it but not even read it… because we live in a culture that does not value things that are so easily given away.

To put it another way:

“If you had a cheap no-brand sound system worth $2, would you care much if it got damaged? Probably not. You could easily get it replaced, right?

But if you had a $20,000 piece of audio equipment? How much more would you value it and look after it?”

It’s an unfortunate situation because there is so much that is free, that we do not value or appreciate.

Until it is taken away from us, of course…

If you’ve read Think & Grow Rich, you’ll understand that:

“There is no such thing as SOMETHING FOR NOTHING!“

(Napoleon Hill, “Think & Grow Rich”, p12).

There is always a price to be paid (whether you realise it or not!).

The price of discovering how to gain riches in your life and implementing your own success, comes at the cost: You need to commit to action and spend time being devoted to getting what you want.

But have you ever stopped to consider the real world costs of running a site like this and giving away an ebook for free?

For me, there is a real financial amount that needs to be paid to keep this site running.

This site is NOT a charity – it’s not being funded and isn’t in any way linked with any official Napoleon Hill bodies.

So, just to make you clear, Website hosting by itself amounts to around $107.40 per year.

I use an auto-responder to hand the 20,000 email subscribers on the mailing list. So how much would my Auto-Responder company charge for this? $149 per month ($1788 per year).

So… now you know. There are real world costs associated to simply building something excellent and keeping it running. Right now, I’m not charging for the eBook but that money has to come from somewhere and I can no longer support giving away the book for free.

If you’re thinking, surely some people would have made donations, then there’s one lesson I’d like to share with you (so you don’t make the same mistake), it’s that:

You may have seen these buttons on the site – well, just to let you know that, in the period of 3 and a half years, the number of people to make a donation to date has been…”19″.Of those, 1 person has generously contributed £150 (around $230).

Total donations to date: £258 (around $400). I’m extremely grateful to each and every one of those people (and yes, those 19 people will be rewarded for their generosity).

As you can see, this is a figure far less than what’s required to maintain this site and make it excellent.

And from these figures… well, YOU make your own mind up about the type of world we live in!

With these kinds of figures, you’d be wondering why I even bother carrying on with this site. I ask myself that question all the time! (I think anyone else would have quit a long time ago).

As I explained before, there are riches to be gained that go beyond “making money”. But it was only recently that I came to my senses and realised that it was possible to both “help to empower people” while “being rewarded for my efforts”.

Many of you will know that it’s only in the last few months that I came up with an idea of how this could be achieved.

Like I said, there are opportunities here… Mutual benefits to be gained. It’s just taken me a long time to realise them and, more importantly, put them into action!
